What Is Beacon Ministries?

There is a wonderful promise in God's Word - the Bible. It is found in Proverbs 22:6; which reads; "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." As all of God's promises are, this promise is made and kept. Only the Lord knows just how many good and Godly parents are out there today, because "their" parents taught them the ways of God.

However, there is a problem, some children do not have parents that are interested in training their children in the Bible. As a matter of fact, God and His Word is the last thing on thier mind. So, what are these children to do?

Beacon Children's Ministries exist to bring glory to God through ministering to children inBible Education and Outreach. BCM accomplishes this through many ways: #1 - A helpful website where they can learn Bible stories, and Bible verses #2 - Kid's Crusade full of exciting things such as Bible stories, puppets, balloon sculpturing, singing and chalk talks. #3 - Prayer request. Many children carry their burdens. It may be a sick parent or grandparent or a thousand different things. We offer parents and children alike an opportunity to send us their prayer request and we will bring them to the Lord. #4 - We are hoping to offer an online store where you can purchase some great items that will help teach your children from the Word of God.

Beacon Children's Ministry is a brand new ministry, as we have just started in January 2003. We are making plans to offer more soon. So keep coming back to our site.
